See Real-time Open-water Swim Data in Your FORM Smart Swim Goggles

August 15, 2020

Swimmers, you can now view your open-water swim performance data in real-time, right before your eyes. If you use FORM Smart Swim Goggles and have a compatible Garmin smartwatch, a free firmware update connecting the two devices will give you the unprecedented ability to view your Garmin GPS performance metrics and heart rate while swimming. Access your data in the pool or open water through the augmented reality display in your FORM goggles.

Before this release, FORM goggles users could only view performance metrics in the pool, such as split times, distance, stroke rate, pace (per 100 meters/yards) and calories during a swim. Now with this update, swimmers can access all their relevant swim metrics provided  via Garmin GPS open-water swim data, which includes: distance, pace, elapsed time, heart rate, and more

When your FORM goggles are connected to a compatible Garmin smartwatch, you’ll see total swim time on the upper line in the goggles and distance, heart rate and pace (per 100 meters/yards) on the lower section – while you can also further customize the goggles display to show different metrics and configurations when swimming too
