   I read several reviews saying that it doesn,t fit the 7″ Garmin 2797 but when I received the Sun Shade and Garmin I found that is is a perfect fit. I works wonderfully in my truck. Its the perfect addition to the Garmin 2797.

   Much better alternative to other visors that have the thin plastic legs to secure the shade/visor to the machine. Those silly little plastic legs fall out of the keyways, and even when all is well, really don’t hold the visor firmly, and wiggle about obscuring the screen on pothole ridden NYC roads. This bad boy holds firm and stays firmly rooted on the job – even on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway ( the worlds longest continuous pothole ) on the rarest of occasions that you can actually achieve the speed limit. Bottom of the visor/shield obscures 1/8″ on the Rand-McNally TMD 730LM – but nothing a little sandpaper and a 1/2 hour layover cannot cure. Another minor issue is that it does block access to the power switch. I just unplug the transformer from the power port to get around that issue. As a professional driver spending many hours a day in the saddle – I highly recommend this product.
