   I really like the fact that the kit includes some protection for the phone in the form of clear strips which can be put under the magnetic plates. That allowed me to stick the magnetic plate in the exact location I wanted and avoids the other issue I was having with previous plates as far as sliding inside my case and changing position. Happy camper! Solved both issues I had as far as the plate sliding and it damaging the back of my phone. Also fits well in slim fitting cases. I have the Apple Silicon Case for the iphone 7 plus and iPhone 7 Plus Case, Spigen [Liquid Armor] Soft [Black] Premium Flexible Soft TPU Case for iPhone 7 Plus (2016) and both still fit well with this inside.

   Ordered these replacement plates for a new Spigen case to fit my new Samsung Note 7. Same good quality plates and product from Spigen. Knocked 1 star off though because the rectangular plates are smaller in size than what came with the magnetic vent mount kit that I initially bought and used for my old Note 4 phone. The round plates are the same size, though. See pictures below.

   PLEASE NOTE: these will interfere with wireless charging capability if your phone has that feature. DO NOT attach these plates directly to the phone. You will have to remove case in order to wirelessly charge phone. I had bought a Samsung fast charge wireless stand, but quickly realized the two don’t work together. Since I’m on the road a lot for work and found it highly annoying to have to remove case every time I wanted to charge my phone via the wireless stand, I chose to return it (the charger) and just went back to plugging the phone in instead.
