October 30, 2014Where am I, how fast am I going?oops! my fault 🙁,
Update: looked at the manual and it has 11 brightness settings. I need to give it another try when I get back to the boat…it can possibly rate much better.
Ooops, I went sailing in full sun and after adjusting the brightness it was easy to read even with my sunglasses. There is some reflection because the screen has a shiny finish. I like the simplicity of this and again the base maps are good enough for me too. This thing is showing me tracks of each time I go sailing which is fun to see, especially the zig zag course a sailboat makes :)…easy page button selection of two choices, Map or compass both of which give your speed. I’ll post a pic of my set up…Good Luck
