Bought a Dakota 20 for use in cycling, hiking, cross country skiing, etc. so I new I’d need a nice rugged case/protector to keep my new toy safe. So I picked up the silicone case, threw it on and haven’t looked back. If you’re going to invest in a Dakota, this case is a no-brainer.

I just received this and love it already! I bought the Garmin Dakota 20, and it came with the nylon case with clear screen, which is slightly more expensive than this case. I didn’t like the nylon one at all. With the clear screen attached to the case, it was difficult to see and use the Dakota’s touchscreen. I even tried turning the nylon case around so the screen was on the back, and that didn’t quite do the trick either. It was just clunky. I ordered this, and I love it. It slipped right on perfectly and even has the power button outline on it. This may seem like a small thing, but I appreciated it being there because there is no doubt where the power button is. I highly recommend this case for anyone with a Garmin Dakota. As a matter of fact, I think it is a necessity. I geocache, so my GPS assuredly gets bumped around. This case protects it without being bulky.
