I just received this card today, and have not installed it yet in my Nuvi. I have no reason to think it is not the correct item.
HOWEVER. Nowhere on/in the shipping package, nowhere on/in the product envelope, nowhere on/in the user guide, and nowhere on the microSD card or on the card adaptor does it ever say “Europe” or “2014”. It just says “City Navigator NT”.
So, even if it contains European addresses, how am I supposed to confirm its for 2014? I’ve deliberately waited until Amazon listed the Europe 2014 before ordering, because I have an upcoming trip and I did NOT want the 2013 version. I do plan to call the vendor to complain about this. For now, I’m giving this 1 star until I can confirm that I have the right card and that it works.

Installing the microSD card is also an adventure. The user guide tells you, in 6 different languages, how to install the microSD chip into the adaptor. However, this is useless information to me for two reasons: (1) my Nuvi 2460 does NOT need the adaptor; the microSD goes directly into a slot the device, (2) an illustration on the adaptor itself shows clearly how to insert the microSD, if you needed to, which you don’t on my Garmin model.
The real question is: how to install the microSD into the Garmin Nuvi? The un-“helpful” advice on the pamphlet: “see your [Garmin] owner’s manual”.
And, here’s Garmin’s “help” per their owner’s manual: “[1] Insert a memory card into the slot on the device., [2] press it until it clicks”.
Since there are 4 possible ways to insert the memory card, it might have been useful for the dim-witted manual writer to explain or illustrate, but that is nowhere to be found in Garmin’s half-baked 70+ page manual.
For your information, I can tell you from my experience, you install the card upside-down, backwards, and with the smaller edge first. It may have clicked, but the click was inaudible due to my cursing.

My thanks to my review commenter, John Craig, for correctly pointing out to me that the microSD card protector (the little clear plastic case) DOES have a printed sticker which says “GARMIN City Navigator, Europe NT, 2014”. (It did require a magnifying glass for me to read, but I can’t deny its there and I should’ve seen it).
Mr. Craig also correctly points out what I finally stumbled onto while drilling into the Nuvi menus, i.e. confirmation that I do indeed have the 2014 Europe Maps. On the Garmin home screen, if you select Tools>Settings>myMaps you get a map list. Mine says “CN North America NT 2014.40 …”. After inserting the SD card, it now lists a second map: “CN Europe NT 2014.40 …”.
Beside each map name is a checkbox and, each checkbox contains a LARGE GREEN checkmark.
When I tried to find ANY address in France, the Garmin DID NOT WORK. Once “France” was selected as the search country, I was then asked to “<Enter State or Province>”. France does not have states or provinces, but I bravely entered every, and any, plausible text I could conceive of, but which ALWAYS resulted in “No Matches Found”.
It took me about an hour of flailing about the device before discovering that the “apparent” solution is to REMOVE the green checkmark from “North America” on the map list and leave only the “Europe” one still checked.
That done, you are NOT asked for a “state or province”, but rather a city. I tried putting in our initial Paris address, and that worked!!!! Hooray.
I still followed up with a phone call to Garmin tech support, and played dumb (easy for me) and let them lead me to the same answer. (I thought that there might be additional perspective or nuance they could add, but that was not the case.) The Garmin support technician had to dig for the answer too, and didn’t disagree with my closing characterization of the Garmin software behavior as a “bug.”
I’ve upped my rating to 4 stars. Of course, the pregnant question is how well will the maps actually work when I get to France. I’ll have to wait and see. I’ve used Garmins extensively throughout the United States; 97% of the time they are extremely helpful, often indispensable; 3% of the time they are maddeningly outdated or flat-out wrong.
Meanwhile, Garmin tech support (unlike their documentation) deserves a “superb” rating. I don’t know if Mr. Craig is associated with Garmin or Amazon or the supplier “America GPS”, but he and all of these companies rendered prompt, quality service for which I am grateful.

While I only did a little driving in Italy, and mostly on the autostrada, it was Slovenia I was worried about. Not only were we spending a week driving around the countryside, but the different and difficult language was going to add to confusion. The map was accurate in all its directions, taking us to Trieste, Piran, Lake Bled and Ljubljana without error. The only thing, and I’m not sure Garmin could do anything about this, was that we were taken down bus-only lanes in Ljubljana that only existed for several consecutive blocks on the main road. Also, our hotel turned out to be in a pedestrian-only area; the streets were blocked a block and a half from the hotel. Hopefully I won’t be getting a ticket from the rental car company in the month’s ahead. Other than that, there were no issues, and I expect to use it again in the future in other countries.
