As a sailor, angler or marine explorer, you want the best technology to make the most of your time on the water. That’s where the ultimate nautical smartwatch from Garmin comes into play. With quatix® 8, you can access all your favorite features of your chartplotter right from your wrist.

Control your boat

Take control of the helm of your vessel with quatix 8, designed to seamlessly integrate with your Garmin marine system. With a Bluetooth® connection, you can use voice commands to control your compatible chartplotter, adjust the audio levels on your boat to better suit the atmosphere and even direct  your compatible entertainment system using the Fusion-Link™ app. With the help of a Garmin USB Voice Control Bundle (sold separately), you’ll be able to take advantage of voice command features on chartplotters without a built-in Bluetooth connection.

Navigate

Getting to your favorite spots should be simple, and luckily the quatix 8 smartwatch is jam-packed with marine-dedicated features designed to support smooth sailing.

If you have Garmin Navionics® cartography with integrated coastal and freshwater maps, you’ll be able to view depth range and shallow water shading as well as get guidance on suggested routes. Once you find a spot where the fish are biting, mark a waypoint on your quatix 8 smartwatch. The next time you get on the water, you’ll be able to make your way to that exact spot.

When heading to one of your marked waypoints, you’ll be able to put your boat on autopilot right from your wrist. Arrive at any destination by following a GPS route when you’re using the autopilot app and connected to a compatible chartplotter or the GHC™ 50 marine autopilot.

Stay up to date

With a compatible chartplotter and quatix 8 smartwatch connectivity, you’ll be able to keep tabs on changing marine conditions via streaming data from your chartplotter directly from your wrist. The quatix 8 smartwatch comes with built-in alerts and notifications, so you’ll be informed when weather and tide changes occur.

Purpose-built design

You can count on quatix 8 to withstand many marine activities, no matter how harsh or how simple. Designed for the water, this nautical watch is water-resistant and includes leakproof buttons and a metal sensor guard. Durability is key, so of course, the quatix 8 features a scratch-resistant lens and a vivid, bright AMOLED display. To enhance situational awareness while you’re on your boat, take advantage of the built-in LED flashlight during the day and red safety light when sailing at night. With either a 47 mm or 51 mm watch housing, quatix 8 fits any user. For extended adventures, the 51 mm quatix 8 has up to 29 days of battery life.

Next time you set sail, bring along a quatix 8 smartwatch. For any marine activity or boating adventure, you can rely on Garmin-trusted, durable marine electronics both on your dash and on your wrist.
