Great value for the price. Obviously not as useful as the more expensive larger screen versions out there, and I do wish they would up the resolution on this model, screen size is fine but resolution not the best. GPS is great for speed, tracking and marking spots. Side imaging at this price is amazing, while you can’t see as clear as the marketing pics show, once you figure out dialing in the settings, it’s a great structure finding tool. Down imaging is also pretty cool, seeing a tree or weeds in great detail is just pretty darn cool. Unfortunately probably the least up to par feature is the standard 2d sonar, with the lower resolution. I mounted the transducer on my trolling motor so it could be used kinda like a 360. I had to do some rigging to put it on my power drive minn kota.

Great value for the price. Unfortunately probably the least up to par feature is the standard 2d sonar, with the lower resolution, it doesn’t mark fish nearly as well as the garmin echo 200 I have on my bow trolling motor. So it’s super useful for all things boat navigation and location finding, but fish marking is it’s weakest feature. Not to say it doesn’t work, it’s just not as easy to read, which I wholly blame on the aforementioned lack of resolution. (Seriously it’s 2014 and they are still using 320×240 resolution… On the most important component of a “$500” device)
Overall, it’s a great Swiss Army knife of high end features packed in a budget device. Personally I love the features and the fact that I didn’t have to pay more than what I did for my boat hull, motors, and trailer combined to enjoy them. Used in conjunction with a better fish marking finder, I would highly recommend this for small boats, or for anyone who wants to dabble in the sweet features the pro’s use without having to layout a ridiculous amount of money for.

This product mounted in the cutout that was made for the original depth finder. Very clear and readable screen for the size and exceeded my expectations. The side imaging still has to be dialed in and is small but what do you expect from a 3 1/2 size screen. The down imaging is great and I could see so much on the bottom even with the small screen size. If you do not mind the size and you want a dash mount depth finder then this is the product to buy. The installation took about 2 hours and I am no expert I had to read a lot. Purchase this product with the rig rite tranducer mount if it is a trolling motor mount. For a dash mount purchase IDMK300 in dash mounting kit. Everything can be purchased from Amazon for the best price that I could find.
