I have a Buick Regal with a deep windshield, and reaching the GPS (Via 1535TM) was not very ergonomic. I bought the bracket so I could lift my right hand and tap whatever I needed. It could have had much better directions, since I popped one of the bracket clips out of its channel. I eventually got the thing back together, and I’ve been able to control the vertical tilt of my GPS, though not sideways, pretty well. It is a very clever device, but it’s somewhat of a puzzle to figure out.

I lost the original mirror mount that came with my GPS and so bought this one. Though a bit expensive, this is an excellent quality product.
I generally rent cars and so was a bit afraid buying this as I would need to fit in & remove this very frequently which may cause breakages. But to my surprise, it fits in very easily to the AC vent and there are no issues removing it. Its very smooth.
Having the GPS on the AC vent is also more convenient that have it on the mirror. I like this product.
