This 12 parallel channel, WAAS enabled GPS receiver is available in either CMOS level serial or USB 2.0 full speed versions, and comes with an integrated magnetic base.
Mi first Garmin was an etrex vista long time ago, but a couple a month ago the screen stop to work and it was time to change it, my action field for the GPS is off road 4×4 trips, I just want a GPS with a very good and wide map view, and with many features. FOr these options you need to spend between $300 and $400, that’s why I decided to buy a Asus laptop and the Garmin GPS 18X USB, with mapsource and nroute you dont need anything else, perfect combination: you obtain a good GPS with a lot of features and a little laptop por trips, pictures music, etc. And I spent about $400
