To everyone this is a Sneak Preview of the Video i’m working on. Gaarmin Mobile XT.. Stay Toon, step by step video is coming up!! ADDING YOUE RECEIVER: turn bluetooth on, on you comm manager on your phone. (from home screen go to start/all programs/comm manager.) (once there click on 2 to activate bluetooth) (then click on settings/2 for bluetooth/1 for bluetooth/add new device. you will now have to turn on your receiver on while your dash search es for it.) enter your pin code, now your phone recognized it. now from your dash, turn on garmin. once you get to the: WHERE TO? VIEW MAP screen, scroll up to the reception bar. click on it. click on disable/select USE BLUETOOTH GPS RECEIVER. click done. you should be set!! click on menu/disable/and choose 1)use bluetooth GPS. your set
yeah… i just got done eating there and i told my girl that i didnt know what video should i film next and since we were going to use the gps she said why not the gps? and here you go lol!!
do you really need the gps reciever thing? or can you just do it on the phone by itself
The dash doesn’t have GPS capabilities so how else would you get this to work?
All smartphones & PDA’s blink blue when bluetooth is turned on.
i gig will only get you enough space for the program and the map of your city….you will have no more room for music programs videos ect. why limit yourself a Transcend 8gb micrSD is $15.00 all day at newegg
the whole us fits perfecly fine on a 2gb, stop guessing.

Just got a Holux GPS reciever for my Dash, work great! I like how that Garmin looks though.
my boss has a garming gps 2008 lates version, we had to travel to los angeles to work at a bldg. i placed my phone and he placed his gps on the window to pair up and see if the phone was worth the gps. my phone was 3 seconds faster on the movements and about 1.5 second faster on turn by turn instructions. can you believe that? lol it had me laughin because he waisted about 500 dollars and i just hacked mines for free lol!

This may be a “stupid” question but can you use your bluetooth headset as a replacement for the bluetooth reciever?

let me get this straight, you have to buy the phone, then the software, then the bluetooth receiever!?!? isn’t that like really expensive!
No, This video is only for those who have the phone. the origram is free if you follow my instructions and the only thing you will need to buy is the receiver.
How do you use Garmin Mobile XT with a separate receiver? It forces me to use the Garmin receiver, which is a bit of a kludge. I have the Holux 1000 receiver, and want to use it with my Dash and XT mobile.
Where can I buy the GPS receiver for my Tmobile DASH?
hey do the navigation buttons lite up??? you know like the send call and end call and up down left right soft keys and such? do they light up or wat???
Hey Bro How did U manage to get your home screen to look like dat with no icons. Just the Picture as ur home screen. I’ve been wanting to do dat but I haven’t gotten an idea of how to actually do it. It also looks like you manage to add the yahoo messenger on ur phone. Were can I get it. Thanks 4 ur Help in advance!
