The AP036 70mm adhesive mounting disk allows you to mount an Arkon or third-party 60mm windshield suction mounting pedestal to your car’s dashboard, including mounting pedestals for Garmin and TomTom GPS devices. (Note that the disc is meant to be a bit larger than the mount to ensure a secure fit.) This package includes only the adhesive disk (mounting pedestals sold separately). To apply the adhesive disk to the car’s dashboard, simply remove the paper backing from the back of the plastic 3M dash mount disc, then place and press down on a previously cleaned surface. One thing to be aware of is that the edge of the disc is textured. If your suction cup is within about 2mm of the edge of the disc it may no be able to suck to it properly. In my case the suction cup is actually just a hair larger, and it can stick to the corner of the disc. This may or may not work for other suction cups as well.
